Bridge & cross-chain metrics
Bridge & corss-chain protocols allows users to transfer tokens, assets, or messages from one blockchain to another. On BunnyBoard, we track these key metrics below:
Metric | Description |
---|---|
Total value locked | Total assets are locked in the protocol includes lqiuidity and staking (if any). |
Supply-side deposit | The The total amount of assets deposited and locked in the protocol as liquidity, used for transferring across blockchains. These assets will generate bridge and cross-chain transfer fees and are commonly refer of fees distributed to supply-side depositors. |
Fees | The total amount of fees paid by users when utilizing bridges and transferring assets. |
Volumes | The total amount of assets transferred across blockchains consists of two transactions for each bridge transfer: 1. a deposit from the source chain, and 2. a withdrawal from the destination chain. To avoid double-counting, we measure volume by counting only the assets deposited on the source chain. |
